Ah, a picture speaks a thousand words doesn't it. M'main man Brad put me onto this little beauty. He's rapidly becoming a Linux monster, that bloke. It's a web administration interface for Unix/Linux which lets you configure all sorts of things on your black box, without leaving the pastoral comfort of your web browser.
Naturally purist wankers will complain that it's all too easy, but they're probably the sort of people who get off on knowing all the vi commands anyway, so bugger 'em.
To harness the power of this web administration interface, just shoot over to webmin.com and download the .rpm file. Install is a one-liner. The interface just runs on port 10000 - you'll need Apache to be running too.
Long live the graphical interface - life doesn't have to be hard (as long as you know how to fix things when the gui screws up..)
